Wolf Like Dogs are a large, friendly, loveable breed who can also be mischievous. They are intelligent and therefore will adapt to training i.e. agility, obedience if you are willing to put time and effort into this wonderful breed. You will be rewarded with love and commitment and a well behaved, good mannered dog.
Wolf Like Dogs left to their own devices will become very destructive therefore need exercise on a daily basis in all weather and plenty to keep them occupied when out at work, shopping etc......I find a food filled frozen Kong will keep them busy for many a hour.. Crate training is an excellent way of keeping your house in one piece.
If you are a materialistic person, have things you love, they will need to be placed out of reach, your Wolf Like Dog will also love them. They moult heavily twice a year but shed hairs throughout the year too, therefore, a good Hoover and grooming kit is essential!
As Wolf Like Dogs are a large breed and with this find it effortless to reach kitchen work tops, anything on there is his/hers for the taking including whatever is left in the sink. Unfortunately, a Wolf Like Dog can be a dust bin, they will eat everything and anything in sight. This may also cause health problems for the dog so an eagle eye is needed at times. Please don't get me wrong NOT all dogs are like this.
If this has not put you off owning this wonderful breed then I would encourage you to do your research and visit a recommended breeder to see the breed for yourself. Never buy a Wolf Like Dog without doing your homework or seeing the breeder and his/her dogs.... make sure you see hip score and eye test certificates, take along a list of questions you have for the breeder... Like with any breed there are good and bad breeders ...
